At Hässleholm Hospital, there is a strong operation within internal medicine, neurology, and rehabilitation medicine. We are two care units operating on the same ward level, medicine and neurology. Right now, we are entering a new phase where we are building for the future, and have therefore implemented a co-location of our departments to increase quality and accessibility for our patients. In connection with this, we are also actively working to review and improve the working environment for our nurses. As a result of this change, we are now expanding our care places with a care team in the medicine department and are therefore looking for you who want to contribute to our development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome more nurses to our team in the medicine department! With us, you will meet patients with a wide variety of internal medicine diagnoses such as infections, heart failure, and COPD, often older and multi-sick. Part of the infection flow consists of orthopedic patients.

- Working here in the medicine department is both exciting and developing. We work with different patient groups and learn something new every day. It is of course challenging and tough at times, but it is also a very fun department and we are a great team, says Patrik, nurse in the medicine department.

We offer an exciting position with great variation in terms of diagnoses, treatments, and patient groups, as well as good opportunities to develop within the internal medicine field. The new proximity to our neurology patients will create good conditions for broadening your competence in both areas, based on your interest and the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale is a requirement. We welcome both experienced and newly graduated nurses.

As a person, you have a positive attitude and see opportunities, which is evident in your ability to adapt and adjust your working methods according to changing circumstances that arise in everyday life. In contact with patients and relatives, we expect you to be attentive and have a humble and empathetic approach. You are curious and want to learn new things, which is reflected in your way of taking your own initiatives in the workplace. We also want you, just like us, to value and promote good collaboration both with colleagues and the immediate manager in the unit as well as with external partners and other operations in the hospital. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
