About the assignment

We are now looking for a Senior Business Controller for a complex organization with significant asset and infrastructure investments. The assignment involves supporting the existing controller function both in the line and in business development initiatives related to governance, reporting, and portfolio management.

You will work both operationally with daily deliveries and strategically to develop processes, tools, and working methods. The role suits you who are analytical, self-driven, and comfortable navigating environments with many internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Deliver qualified analyses and decision-making materials
• Participate in planning, forecasting, key figures, and follow-up
• Support projects and steering groups with reporting
• Develop and streamline processes, methods, and reporting structures
• Ensure clear and business-adapted packaging of information
• Contribute to the management of the asset portfolio

Goals of the assignment

• Strengthen the controller function and free up capacity in the line
• Improve the quality of reporting and decision-making materials
• Contribute to the development of processes, KPIs, and governance models
• Deliver sustainable and documented solutions for portfolio management

Requirements profile

Must-haves

• At least 10 years of experience in qualified controller work in a complex organization
• Academic education in economics or finance
• At least 2 years of experience in portfolio, program, or project management
• Very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• At least 2 years of experience in producing management reports and decision-making materials
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• 12+ years of experience in qualified controller work
• Experience in business development
• Experience with the interface between line, project, and portfolio
• Experience with UBW (Agresso), Antura Projects, or similar systems
• Experience from government or regulated operations

Start: January 6, 2026

End: February 28, 2027

Option: 1 + 1 year

Location: Sundbyberg

Travel: May occur

Security clearance: Mandatory
