About the Role

Do you want to make a real difference for Sweden to succeed in the energy transition and achieve climate goals? We will be making significant investments in our grid and are now looking for a business analyst in the innovation area with a focus on opportunities and challenges within the local electricity system.

Vattenfall Eldistribution is an important and driving player in the energy transition. The Innovation & Business Development unit coordinates and is responsible for the company's innovation activities and innovation portfolio, which includes both internal and external innovation projects. We also work with business development and have a strong connection to international efforts, including in Brussels.

The unit is responsible for innovation encompassing everything from changing customer and societal needs to new technologies, methods, and business models. We conduct analysis regarding upcoming technological developments, standardization, and policy/regulation. We are a wonderful team consisting of 14 people with diversity in gender, age, expertise, and geographical location.

As a Business Analyst, you will participate in and lead development projects, both nationally and internationally, to support the company's innovation towards strategic goals. The specific focus of the position lies on system issues at all voltage levels with applications related to digitalization and AI. Analysis of the external environment and evaluation of completed innovations are also parts of the role.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent academic education.
• Experience from the energy sector, preferably specifically in electricity network issues.
• Clear in your communication in both spoken and written form, in both Swedish and English.

As a person, it is important that you are independent and can easily collaborate with others, and are confident in taking initiative and creating progress in a changing environment. You are curious and have a desire to understand the opportunities and challenges in the business. Location

Preferably at one of our offices in Umeå, Solna, or Luleå. Trollhättan, Uppsala, Gothenburg, or Linköping can be discussed. Travel may occur in the position.
