This provides direct benefits to companies and also creates conditions for businesses, municipalities, and regions to meet future challenges. Tillväxtverket is a national authority with a regional presence in nine locations.

Since the summer of 2025, Tillväxtverket has been the sector-responsible preparedness authority for the new broadband sector for industry, construction, and trade. As a lawyer in the unit, you will be involved in issues related to industry and trade, and thus also our preparedness assignment.

You work within a broad legal field and are involved in the entire agency's operations. You will work on issues related to the agency's core activities, which include legal quality assurance of both grant processes and grant management as well as government assignments. You will also investigate issues related to state aid, conduct contract reviews, and internal training. The role also includes exciting EU legal issues and a clear focus on operational development work.

You will belong to the Procurement and Legal Unit in the Legal and Control Department. Currently, there are four lawyers, one investigator, and two procurement officers in the unit. Your place of employment is Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö, but travel to other offices may occur.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Swedish law degree (formerly jur kand)
  • At least four years of experience in qualified legal work as a lawyer at a government agency
  • Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of administrative law
  • Current experience in working with operational development
  • Current experience in working with state aid regulations or competition law.

The following are meritorious:

  • Experience in leading operational development work
  • Experience in working with EU-related regulations, such as the Regional Fund, Horizon Europe, or the European Social Fund.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills and a high work capacity. You should also be self-driven in your work and enjoy taking initiative. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities. We expect you to live up to our employee and manager policy, which expresses the expectations we have for all employees.

Employment form

The employment is a permanent position. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
