About the position

The position of archivist is located in the department for business development, support, and service, and the unit of registration. The unit has the overall responsibility for planning, management, and handling of the authority's documents and information assets. The unit consists of registrars, archivists, operational managers, and an information security officer.

Together with colleagues, you ensure the daily and long-term work within the archive function's area of responsibility. You have a good understanding of information and case management within the public sector. In the role of archivist, you work broadly with both digital and analog information management. The work involves typical archivist tasks, focusing on retrieval, handling inquiries, and disclosures. Other tasks may also occur, such as participating with archivist expertise in various projects, organizing and cataloging, and investigating issues related to preservation and disposal.

About you

To fit the role, you need to have the ability and willingness to take your own initiative and drive your work forward, while working with your colleagues for the overall mission. You perform your tasks carefully and in a structured manner. Since the work involves many internal and external contacts, you need to have a good sense of service and the ability to support and guide others. We are looking for someone who has

• A university degree with at least 1 year of studies in archival science
• Current and relevant experience of work or internship in the public sector
• Good knowledge of applicable regulations including transparency and confidentiality
• Good computer skills and experience using various types of IT systems
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

It is advantageous if you have

• Experience in handling inquiries and some confidentiality assessments
