About the Position

We are currently seeking a person with an interest in the manufacturing of a relatively new product within the nicotine product segment. The product consists of thin stripes that are absorbed by the body and allow the user to use nicotine in a safe, quick, and discreet manner. The product has been developed and produced in Sweden, holds a Swedish patent, and is manufactured in a food-grade environment in a factory in Vallentuna municipality. It consists of thin stripes used in the same way as snus but are not visible from the outside, providing the same effect as other nicotine products but are completely absorbed by the body.

Production starts with the preparation of the mass. This is then added to the manufacturing/drying machine, and the manufacturing process must be monitored throughout. When a batch is ready, it must be cut and packaged, either in cans or bags. The manufacturing of a full batch takes about 30 hours. The idea is that the manufacturing time will be divided among several people, so the weekly schedule will involve longer shifts but not work every day. Currently, two people work in production, and it is important that you work well with them and have good cooperation.

During manufacturing, the machine needs to be monitored and checked regularly. However, you do not need to stand by the machine all the time, which is why we envision that you, who may be studying in a technical field, can combine this with your studies.

The working hours will be varied, with longer shifts but fewer shifts per week. The arrangement of this is something you and your colleagues will agree on. The position is to be filled relatively quickly, but we will place great emphasis on finding the right person for this task.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person who is very meticulous and truly wants and has the ability to understand how the production of these stripes works. No prior knowledge is required, but you must be able and willing to absorb information, apply it in handling the machine, and also be able to find solutions to problems that may arise during a production cycle.

Requirements:

• Swedish or English: Fluent in both spoken and written.
• Ability to absorb instructions and follow them.
• Extremely meticulous, able to read the machine and address problems that arise.

Merit:

• Some form of technical education or a technical interest so that you can handle the machines.
• Experience from working in the manufacturing industry.
