Job Description:
Do you want to be part of an engaged team and provide visitors at Skokloster Castle with a memorable experience? As a museum host responsible for the shop and entrance, you will be the castle's face to the public and play a central role in creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that our visitors receive a warm and professional welcome.
Your responsibilities include:
- Actively welcoming and guiding visitors at the entrance, creating a safe and inviting environment.
- Selling the castle's educational offerings and shop products.
- Responsible for unpacking, pricing, restocking, and cleaning in the shop.
- Cash handling including cash reporting and recording visitor statistics.
- Tasks such as visitor surveys and basic cleaning may also be included.
You thrive in both high-pressure and quieter periods and have the ability to work both independently and in a team. We place great importance on your personal qualities and your ability to create a positive experience for our visitors.
Qualifications:
- Relevant education or experience in similar tasks.
- A strong service and safety mindset.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Employment Conditions:
- Seasonal employment with a monthly salary.
- Start date in April or later, but no later than November. The length of employment and working hours may vary.
- Scheduled working hours with weekend work and the possibility of additional hours.
- Skokloster Castle conducts mandatory training days.
