Today, the ambulance service consists of ambulances, assessment vehicles, and light care ambulances. The Job

We are looking for someone who wants to play a crucial role in caring for people who may be in life-threatening situations. Meeting individuals in a vulnerable situation where your skills and efforts are decisive. In your role within the ambulance, you will work with emergency interventions when someone has suffered an accident or illness. Work takes place both at the patient's home, at the accident site, and during transport to the hospital. The job also includes transporting patients between hospitals or other care providers.

Within the ambulance service, we work in teams and each ambulance must have at least one nurse who provides emergency care with medication management.

We have begun our work to further develop a person-centered approach to best meet all patients with different conditions and circumstances. As an employee, you will be offered a wellness allowance and access to a gym and other forms of training. Work according to schedule. 24/7 operations. Monthly salary according to collective agreement, individual salary setting.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have a specialist education in ambulance care or emergency care. You should have at least two years of experience in somatic hospital care, or other experience that the employer deems equivalent. You must have at least a B driver's license; higher qualifications are advantageous.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability - for the tasks, such as the ability to work in a team, flexibility, and working with people in vulnerable life situations. You need to have good physical fitness and be able to handle stress and threatening situations while maintaining calm and good manners. You are attentive and have good communication skills. You thrive in changing tempos and find this stimulating and varied. During the hiring process, a fitness test will be conducted and swimming ability must be certified. You will receive training in safe driving, medical training, and pre-hospital medical management.
