Innovitaskolan consists of 26 preschools and primary schools created for the needs of the future. We combine traditional teaching with modern tools and methods to provide our children and students with the skills and right conditions in a changing world. About Innovitaskolan Banérporten

Innovitaskolan Banérporten is a well-established school in Östermalm, Stockholm, for many years. It is close to Gärdet, Djurgården, and many of the city's museums. Our operations started as early as 1992, initially as a private after-school activity. In 1997, we expanded our operations with preschool, and in 2002 we started school activities for preschool class to grade 6. Today, there are 384 students at the school and 142 children in our preschool.

We live in a world that is moving faster and faster. We are constantly faced with new challenges, but also opportunities. With a focus on future skills, we educate our students to become confident individuals who can communicate freely and move unhindered in the new digital landscape. We combine traditional teaching with modern tools and methods to provide our children and students with the right conditions in a changing world. We combine high subject knowledge with collaborations within the business and association sectors.

Our goal is for both students and guardians to feel involved and engaged. Through our three guiding principles SAFETY, JOY, and DEVELOPMENT, we strive to achieve this.

Our premises are located in the blocks around Gustav Adolfsparken in Östermalm, Stockholm. The premises are adapted for each activity's purpose, and the proximity to the beautiful parks around provides fantastic opportunities for children of all ages.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher for grades 4-6 and have experience working with middle school students. You will take over a grade 4 class from February 2 until June 26. You should preferably have qualifications/experience in math and science.

Our operations are characterized by the guiding principles: safety, joy, and development. We actively work with soft values, which provide good conditions for learning and development. Our work is characterized by a high level of engagement from everyone working at the school. We work with relational leadership in the classroom and close collaboration with our guardians.

Our goal is for students to be well prepared for high school, with good subject knowledge, good study techniques, and high social competence. At Innovitaskolan Banérporten, we use a varied working method where ideas and inspiration are drawn from different pedagogical models. The common starting point is that we want to stimulate the desire and joy of learning. We are convinced that learning largely takes place in interaction and communication with others. As a teacher, you are attentive and want to guide students into the future. You are clear in your leadership and have good experience leading student groups. Therefore, we are looking for someone with a strong personal commitment to learning, a burning interest in developing our students' knowledge, and a willingness to collaborate collegially, preferably with humor and warmth.

As a teacher with us, you will work closely with your colleagues in your work team. In the work team, you will collaborate around the grade and the parts that concern mentorship. In subject teams, you will collaborate with your subject colleagues in planning and assessment.
