We are looking for a Project Manager for the Norrbotniabanan at Trafikverket. 

This is a consulting assignment. 

The position is 60-80% but may vary. The stationing location is Luleå.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role involves working as an assistant project manager in several projects related to a larger railway initiative. The assignment is carried out in close collaboration with the existing project manager and the project organization, primarily within design but also in upcoming contracts. The work includes planning, coordination, follow-up, and management of projects regarding time, cost, and content, as well as conducting meetings, budget work, technical advice, and ensuring that standards and requirements are met. The role also includes knowledge transfer to the client's employees.

Responsibilities

Distribute, execute, and follow up on project work in accordance with governing documents in consultation with the client.

Together with the project organization and central support resources, initiate, prepare, and establish calculations and budgets according to established procedures for the project.

Ensure that necessary meetings are held and lead many of these, such as construction meetings, financial meetings, technical meetings, and design meetings.

Hold coordination meetings with the municipality and utility owners.

Perform the work in collaboration and under the direction of the client.

Follow up and drive projects regarding time, cost, and content.

Ensure that standards, construction requirements, and regulations are followed by the designer and/or contractor.

Assist with technical advice.

Assist the entire program as needed.

Transfer knowledge to the client's employees regarding the tasks performed by the consultant.

Requirements (Mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Experience from working in project groups where coordination has been important. B driver's license. At least 3 years of work experience as a project manager in the relevant technical area (General Railway Project Manager). Work experience should not be older than 10 years. Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and regulations in the relevant area. Must have completed BASÄSKYDD 5 years of experience in designing larger railway projects as a project manager or design manager. Larger railway projects are defined as having a scope of at least 200 million in project costs. (design + production) Must have completed training to function as the Client's construction work environment coordinator, BAS-P, and BAS-U.

Desirable 

Experience in designing railway bridges. Additional years of experience in designing railway projects as a project manager or design manager. Has held the role of public client and has experience leading meetings and communicating with external parties such as municipalities, county administrative boards, and utility owners.
