Eltel is growing rapidly and we are getting more business. We want to strengthen our presence further in Malmfälten! We are always interested in hiring new technicians for our office in Kiruna and would love for you to become part of our candidate pool!

What are my responsibilities? ⚡

As a construction manager, you play a central role as the link between our own technicians and subcontractors. You will work closely with production planners, designers, and project managers. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project stays within both time and budget constraints. You ensure that the work is performed correctly and that resources are used efficiently to achieve both economic and quality goals. You are the one who compiles and packages the documentation for the project owner for invoicing.

As a construction manager, you will mostly be in the field and available for support. You will spend about 60% of your time in the field and 40% in the office.

Examples of tasks:

• Drive production in the field and ensure that correct reporting occurs
• Be responsible for ensuring that contractors perform their services in accordance with agreed plans
• Prepare documentation and ensure the right quality (correct depth/restoring the ground correctly, fiber installation, etc.) and provide feedback to the designer
• Drive, develop, and follow up on quality work, suggest improvements, and ensure that inaccuracies are corrected

As a construction manager, you should know the applicable regulations (customer instructions, municipal instructions, rules, and regulations) to support those in the field.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

• Have experience in similar work
• Have a high school diploma, preferably with a technical focus or equivalent
• Hold a B driver's license for manual transmission
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Have knowledge of business/construction law (AB04) and experience with excavation work in streets, roads, and green areas

It is an advantage if you have a relevant university degree in a similar field. Also, if you have excavation training and knowledge in fiber technology.

As a person, you are responsible, engaged, and take initiative. Since you collaborate with many contacts, both internally and externally, it is important that you have good communication skills. You are an ambassador to customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
