We are looking for a musical leader for our children and youth activities at the Aktiv Ungdom Malmö association for the spring term of 2026.

The position involves teaching approximately 2-4 hours/week. This is a part-time position for work on weekday evenings and/or Saturdays over a 10-12 week period with a break for the autumn holiday. The assignment is for spring 2026, approximately September to December. The positions are in various locations around Malmö (Limhamn, Hyllie, Kirseberg, etc.).

We have a musical and theater school for children from about 6 years old up to around 16 years old.

We are looking for someone who:

• is passionate about theater and/or musicals and is eager to share their knowledge.
• is a social person who can create community and safety for all children and young people, as well as for their parents/adults.
• enjoys development, both in themselves and in their students.
• is self-sufficient, as you will be solely responsible during your musical lesson, handling everything from opening/locking/security of the venue to taking attendance, etc. You may work together with an assistant.

We consider it essential that you have participated in musical activities as a participant and perhaps also as a leader, been part of a theater/musical group, and that you can sing and conduct singing training.

If you also have experience working with children, and/or have taught theater/musical, it is an advantage but not a requirement. Education in theater, musical, and/or dance is a merit.

The Aktiv Ungdom Malmö association is a children and youth organization with cultural activities for children and young people in the areas of dance, theater, musical, and art school. Our ideology and working method focus on age grouping and emphasize the social aspect within the group. We also recognize the importance of developing both the group and each student's growth, without an elitist mindset. We also offer various workshops, holiday activities, and events throughout the year.

We produce a smaller musical performance each term, where all students have the opportunity to participate.
