We are looking for course leaders for our preschool activities at the Aktiv Ungdom Malmö association for the spring term of 2026.

The position involves teaching duties of about 2-4 hours/week. This is a part-time position for work on weekday evenings and/or Saturdays during a 10-12 week period with a break for autumn break. The assignment is for spring 2026, approximately September to December. The positions are in various locations around Malmö (Limhamn, Hyllie, Kirseberg, etc.).

We are looking for someone who:

• is passionate about dance, loves to dance, and enjoys spreading joy through dance in a group.
• knows the fundamentals of dance well and wants to teach and share their dance knowledge with others.
• is a social person who can create community and safety for all children and young people, as well as for their parents/adults.
• likes development, both for themselves and their students.
• is self-sufficient, as you will be solely responsible during your dance class, including opening/locking/security of the venue, taking attendance, etc.

We are primarily looking for dance leaders for our activities with younger children, aged approximately 2/3 years up to about 8 years, focusing on children's dance, dance play, and children's rhythm. You are also welcome to have knowledge of several different dance styles. We are also looking for leaders for our family dance sessions with adults and children together. You will often work with an assistant leader or another leader.

It is an advantage if you have worked with children of various age groups, and some form of dance education is desirable but not required. We are open to applicants with different knowledge in all dance, rhythm, etc. with young children.

The Aktiv Ungdom association in Malmö is a children's and youth association that has a community-driven cultural school for children and young people, from 2 to about 19 years old, on weekday evenings and weekends in the areas of dance, theater, musical, and art school. We have several different activity venues in Malmö, including in Kirseberg, Limhamn, Malmö city, and more. Our ideology and working method focus on age grouping and the social aspect within the group. We also recognize the importance of developing both the group and the development of each student, but without an elitist mindset. We also have a number of workshops, holiday activities, and events throughout the year.
