Workplace

At the Economic Crime Authority in Gothenburg, operations are conducted at two economic crime chambers and a police operational unit. We are now seeking a deputy chief prosecutor for the second economic crime chamber in Gothenburg.

Job Responsibilities

As a deputy chief prosecutor, you will be the deputy to the chamber chief and, in collaboration with the chamber chief and the chamber commissioner, lead and direct the chamber towards the authority's set goals, as well as act as an operational prosecutor. Together, you are responsible for the management, direction, and follow-up of the operational work that takes place in the chamber.

In your role as deputy chief prosecutor, you will act as an operational prosecutor, be responsible for legal matters, propose and develop working methods and internal organization, and also work for a uniform and rational handling of the chamber's cases and matters. You will also represent the chamber in various contexts both internally and externally, for example, in collaboration with other authorities.

As a deputy chief prosecutor, you should be a highly engaged and driven leader with a great ability to inspire employees to work towards set goals. We expect you to have an interest in developing the chamber and its working methods both organizationally and legally.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• has solid experience in the prosecutor profession with several years of experience
• is results- and goal-oriented with a focus on operations
• has high social and empathetic competence
• has good decision-making ability
• has good analytical skills and
• is development-oriented.

You should have experience and a good ability to collaborate in both internal and external contexts. As a deputy chief prosecutor at the Economic Crime Authority, you are expected to lead according to the authority's leadership criteria. To succeed in your role at the Economic Crime Authority, you want and can work in accordance with the authority's employee policy, the EBM model.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• experience in leading change and development work with good results
• leadership experience or have completed the Prosecutor Authority's leadership supply program or have other relevant leadership training
• experience in contributing to a good collaborative climate and efficiency in complex criminal investigations regarding economic or other crimes
• experience in collaboration with other authorities.
