Job Responsibilities

At the Medical Clinic, we have three full-time dietitians who work independently based on the needs of the units and their own areas of specialization, but we also cover for each other when needed. Our work is varied, developing, and exciting; something new happens every day, which allows us to continually grow in our profession.

Our work involves everything from assessing, diagnosing, and treating nutrition-related problems to prescribing food for special medical purposes to patients in both outpatient and inpatient care. The main areas we dietitians work in include diabetes, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, gastrointestinal diseases, and blood disorders. When you work with us, you will work independently, for example, having your own clinic and receiving your own patients, but you will also collaborate in teams around the patient. We work person-centered with a holistic view of the patient and responsiveness to the individual patient's needs.

About the Workplace

The Medical Clinic provides specialized care in all internal medicine specialties as well as neurology. Our primary catchment area covers approximately 165,000 inhabitants, and for region-wide operations, which cover the entire Västmanland County, it is about 270,000 inhabitants.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed dietitian or has completed their education and is awaiting their license. If you have experience working in healthcare and are accustomed to working person-centered, we consider that an advantage. For the position, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

For the position, we see that you are a person who can plan and organize your work effectively, take responsibility for your tasks, and adapt when unforeseen events occur or circumstances change. Since you will be collaborating in teams and with different units as well as with patients and their relatives, it is significant that you have good collaboration skills, are accommodating in your approach, responsive to others' needs and conditions, and have an empathetic attitude. In your communication with others, you are straightforward, clear, and concerned that you understand the person you are communicating with and that they understand you. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Conditions

Temporary position for 12 months with the possibility of extension. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.
