About the workplace

The municipal Primary Care in Norberg consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants. In the team, we all work together for a good working environment, and the collegial climate is very good. In Norberg, we have two special accommodations, Björkängen and the dementia care unit Granbacken, a short-term department, three areas within regular housing, and LSS.

Job responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you are responsible for providing high-quality health and medical care within the entire municipal primary care assignment. You assess, plan, execute, evaluate, and document health and medical care interventions based on the nurse's profession. You guide and lead the care staff during day and evening work. The role places great emphasis on close collaboration with other professional categories.

You work together with care staff, the patient, and their relatives with the patient in focus. The work includes evening and weekend shifts as you will work alone as a nurse.

Qualifications and competencies

Licensed nurse.

To thrive in the role, you need to be independent, creative, and able to take your own initiatives with great personal responsibility. We also see that you have the ability to lead and delegate work and be flexible. We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate well with others. Since documentation and communication are a large part of the job tasks, it is important that you have good computer skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Previous experience in municipal primary care is an advantage. A driver's license is required for the position.
