Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities are standard nursing tasks within inpatient care. In your role as a nurse, you will perform tasks such as venipuncture, catheter insertion, EKG, blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose testing, NEWS, and wound care. You will also be responsible for the care of patients and work closely with other staff in the department, relatives, and other units. The administrative work includes documentation in Cosmic.

Ward 1 has 18 beds focusing on heart and lung patients. Patients come for follow-up care from the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit with telemetry monitoring, but also from the emergency department or via referral. The ward has a high patient turnover with relatively short lengths of stay.

As a nurse with us, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team together with other nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and dietitians.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience with Cosmic and emergency care, preferably with a focus on heart and lungs.

Your personal qualities are important, so we hope you are confident, stable, and self-aware. Your demeanor is calm and attentive, and you have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others. You take initiative and responsibility for your tasks and can easily adapt to new challenges.

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment, night and day/evening shifts, full-time, and hourly employment. Start date according to agreement.
