We at Attendo are now looking for a nursing assistant for Attendo Hammarby in Västerås.
Attendo Hammarby nursing home is located in the western part of Västerås. The building has 28 apartments for people with dementia and care needs, as well as a service house with 30 apartments for individuals who have been granted home care services.
We are looking for someone who is driven by working with people and making a real difference for customers every day. You have the ability to empower and support customers in all aspects of daily life.
As a person, you are meticulous and engaged with customers and their relatives. You find it easy to collaborate, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in our workplace.
About the role
As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a significant part of your role, as well as being able to contribute with various activities that brighten the daily lives of our elderly.
Your tasks include, among others:
Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes
If needed, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.
Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions
Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications
Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points.
Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)
Good computer skills/computer familiarity
Meritorious:
Experience from care work in elderly care
Experience in delegation.

Summary
Role: Nursing Assistant
Employment form: Probationary employment for 6 months, then permanent
Working hours: 75%
Work time: Daytime, evenings, and every other weekend.
Start date: By agreement
