Logistics Officer at HNS CC
Do you want a varied job where you collaborate with both military and civilian actors while contributing to smooth logistics? As a Logistics Officer at HNS CC, you will play a central role in the work with host nation support and the development of the section's activities.
Host Nation Support Section/HNS CC
The Operations Management (OPL) is tasked with supporting the Chief of OPL with relevant planning, implementation, and decision support materials for the management of the Armed Forces' operations both nationally and internationally.
HNS CC (Host Nation Support Coordination Cell) is one of three sections within the Logistics Department /J4. The section is responsible for coordinating host nation support for incoming and transiting foreign units into and/or through Sweden. This section was newly established in the autumn of 2025.
Main Responsibilities
As a logistics officer, you have a holistic perspective and are involved in the planning and coordination of host nation support.
Coordination occurs with units within the Armed Forces as well as civilian authorities and organizations, as well as foreign units.
You play a role in the section's development and have administrative tasks, such as drafting documents and protocols, bookings, orders, updating collaboration platforms, preparing and compiling materials, and other administrative tasks relevant to the position.
As HNS CC is in a startup phase, the initial period of the job will involve tasks that lead to a functioning section that solves assigned tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- High school education with passing grades
- Current and relevant experience of administrative work within government, preferably in the total defense sector
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English – both spoken and written
- Driving license B

Meritorious
- Completed military basic training, conscription, or equivalent with passing results
- Experience working with host nation support or logistics
- Previous service in the Armed Forces
- Previous international service or within the voluntary defense
- Experience and knowledge of the Armed Forces' IT systems

Employment type: Permanent position. The employment begins with a 6-month probationary period.
Employment rate: Full-time. Working hours are primarily during the day, but evening and weekend work may occur.
Work location: Stockholm. The position is not suitable for remote work. Shorter trips to other locations and abroad may occur.
Position level: Civil
Start date: By agreement
The position involves military placement and will therefore be preceded by a security review.

In the Headquarters, there is the Supreme Commander and the Director General. The Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. The Headquarters consists from 2023-01-01 of the defense staff, operations management, military intelligence and security service, as well as the Headquarters' staff department and independent supervisory units.
Employment with us means placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required. A security review with a background check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
