Company Administrator at the Swedish Armed Forces

The Swedish Armed Forces is in an expansion phase and on a comprehensive growth journey. In our close-knit and dedicated team, you will have the opportunity for personal development while contributing to the organization's daily operations and future. About the Unit

1611.Strilkompaniet, part of the 161st Stril Battalion, is now recruiting a company administrator who will provide administrative support primarily to the company management and platoon leaders, but also to the company as a whole. The company is mainly located in Bålsta and has the main task of monitoring Sweden's airspace, asserting Sweden's territorial integrity in the airspace, and conducting air combat control of combat aircraft.

Main Responsibilities

You will support and provide administrative service to leaders in the company primarily within operational management, personnel, finance, and case management. For example, this may involve producing reports and statistics from various databases and preparing materials for financial planning, accounting, and follow-up. Additionally, preparing documents for approval in the Armed Forces' documentation management system VIDAR, registering information in the Armed Forces' personnel management system, and preparing, distributing, and following up on personnel decisions within the unit are further examples of daily tasks. The position also includes preparing meetings regarding bookings and invitations, recording minutes, and administering purchases.

Within the Armed Forces, we always work as a team. Our organization is built on collaboration, adaptability, and a shared responsibility for the whole. This means that we are all prepared to support each other, sometimes even outside our own areas of expertise and comfort zones. Therefore, as an employee, you may sometimes face new types of tasks. This is a natural part of working in the Armed Forces that serves both the agency and the employee's development well, and you will never be given a task that you do not have the means to accomplish.
