Who are we?

Luntgatan 51 is a centrally located service housing within LSS in Norrköping. The accommodation consists of 18 apartments in a six-story building. The housing is focused on social psychiatry, and here live individuals with various support needs in their daily lives.

We work in teams around each user, where everyone's competence and perspectives are utilized to create continuity and the best possible support. Our working method is based on collaboration, communication, and a genuine commitment to people's well-being.

Your Responsibilities

As a support assistant with us, you provide individually tailored support in daily life – everything from social interaction and structure to practical tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping. You collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals to create a safe and meaningful existence for each resident.

Since the users have both mental and physical disabilities, you need to work from an understanding and knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses. You will also be involved in care.

You will work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts together with 11 colleagues. Documentation and planning are a natural part of the job, and you actively contribute to the development of the organization.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a support assistant and has a high school diploma from the health and social care program, the child and leisure program with a social focus, or another relevant education deemed equivalent. Furthermore, you have experience working in social psychiatry.

We would prefer that you have previous experience in care work, work within LSS, and low-arousal approaches.

As a person, you are attentive, stable, and have a genuine interest in people. You convey verbal information clearly and have the ability to adapt your communication based on whom you are meeting.

You enjoy working both independently and in teams, as you are collaborative and contribute knowledge and information to the group.

You have good self-awareness and an understanding of how your own emotions affect behavior. You easily adapt to new working methods and situations and remain calm and professional, even when it gets stressful.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
