In the role of a nursing assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will work to provide good care, service, and support to our residents. Trollängen is a special accommodation with a total of six departments: 3 for dementia, 2 for somatic care, and one short-term/temporary care department focusing on cognitive impairment. Each department houses 9-10 residents. Trollängen is located in the quiet area of Trollbäcken, close to buses, shops, pharmacies, and green spaces. It is easy to reach from Gullmarsplan, Stora Sköndal, and Haninge.

In the position of nursing assistant, you will work with care and support based on the residents' wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. As a nursing assistant, you work in a team, together with the responsible nurse and the rehabilitation and activity team. You are responsible for care measures for the residents based on decisions, implementation plans, and care plans. Your work includes, among other things, helping residents with personal hygiene, responding to alarms, handling laundry, cleaning, serving meals, and social interaction. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication administration and training. You are responsible for working in accordance with applicable legislation, routines, and policies. As a nursing assistant, you are the contact person for one to two residents. You participate in daily planning and follow up to ensure that measures are carried out with good results. You document in our journal system. The work includes conversations and contact with relatives.

Job Description

We are currently looking for new colleagues for permanent employment with a working percentage of ”68-75 %” with a start date to be agreed upon. The schedule is rolling over 4 weeks and includes weekend work every other weekend.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare confirming that you are a nursing assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care, as well as experience in short-term and temporary care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
