Welin & Co AB is a company that distributes and specializes in products for surface treatment of wood and other natural materials, from floor to ceiling in homes and public environments.
We represent market-leading quality brands such as Timberex, Osmo, Rust-Oleum, OrganoWood, Auson, and also have our own product lines like Gammeldags Träsåpa, Trälut, and Trallsåpa. Our customers include paint and building specialty retailers, wholesalers, contracting chains, and manufacturing industries.

We are now establishing a new position, Technical Backoffice Employee.
As a Technical Backoffice Employee, you will have a central role at Welin. You will be responsible for developing our technical and administrative processes.
The position involves administrative and supportive tasks within Welin, focusing on technical aspects. This includes everything from order management, technical support, problem-solving, data management, and other administrative functions that are crucial for the smooth operation of the business and for continuous development and improvement.
Your work ensures that our daily operations run smoothly and that we continuously develop our digital tools and routines.
The tasks include:
- Order Management: Register incoming orders from customers.
- Data Management: Collect, process, and modify customer data in the business system.
- Technical Support: (Backup to the regular support manager) Handle incoming cases from customers and users regarding technical problems or questions.
- System Administration: Responsible for the implementation of a new telephone exchange and a new case management system, and lead the development with improvements of these systems.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that technical systems and processes meet defined quality requirements and goals.
- Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, such as manuals and instructions for order management and technical support.
- Project Support: Assist in technical projects by managing administrative tasks and documentation.
Who might be suitable for a technical backoffice position?
- You have a very good technical understanding and problem-solving ability.
- You have documented experience in being responsible for the implementation of new systems in a company's operations.
- You are organized, meticulous, and can handle administrative tasks professionally.
- You are good at communicating both in writing and verbally.
- You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and you have a very high level of service.
- We are looking for someone with a university degree in technology or IT, and at least 5 years of experience in similar tasks.
