Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated accounting assistant to support the finance department at Bewi Packaging in daily operations. The role is suitable for someone with some experience in accounting work and enjoys working broadly with both accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as administrative tasks. Here is a selection of the tasks you can expect to work with.

Accounts receivable and accounts payable
Invoicing, incoming and outgoing payments
Ongoing bookkeeping and coding
Contact with suppliers and internal departments
Support to customer service in invoicing issues
Digital mail handling and support during year-end closing

You will be employed by NearYou with an assignment at Bewi Packaging. The position is initially part-time at 50-80% with good opportunities for extension to full-time.

Qualifications

You do not need to have extensive experience – the most important thing is that you are meticulous, responsible, and have your head on straight. You enjoy handling multiple tasks concurrently and the variation of working both independently and in a team.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a high school education in economics (or equivalent)
Has an interest or some knowledge in finance
Is structured, positive, and easy to collaborate with
Has good computer skills and can easily adapt to new systems

Meritorious:

Post-secondary education in finance
Preferably has experience as an accounting assistant, but this is not a requirement
Experience with Visma
