About the Job:
Montessori Preschool Tellus in Norra Fäladen, Lund is looking for an engaged and qualified preschool teacher.
Our preschool aims to nurture the world's most important resource, children, who will shape and develop our future. This is our focus in our interactions and pedagogical work with the children.
Are you our new colleague who enjoys working in a smaller preschool setting with short decision-making paths and with Montessori pedagogy as your driving force and guiding star?
With two smaller groups of children, there are fantastic opportunities to achieve the intentions of the curriculum. Does this sound inspiring?
Then you should definitely apply to us.
About Tellus:
The preschool is located in N. Fäladen, Lund, surrounded by lovely green areas that we often utilize. Our pedagogy is focused on harnessing the child's curiosity, interests, and desire to learn. We have two groups, Månen with 12 children aged 1-3 and Solen with 20 children aged 3-5. Tellus operates as a Parent Cooperative in the form of an economic association. All parents are members and thus have the opportunity to influence the part of the operations that lies outside the pedagogical. The board is elected among the parents and is therefore the employer of the staff.
Qualifications to Apply:
We prefer that you have experience working with children and possess good knowledge and insight into the preschool teacher's teaching assignment. If you are trained in Montessori pedagogy or have worked with the pedagogy, we consider that an advantage. You are curious and positive, seeing differences as an asset in life and are motivated to create, influence, and change. You are a secure, proactive, and cheerful person who shows great commitment and good collaboration skills.
You will be responsible, together with the team, for creating conditions for both the individual child's learning and development, as well as for the group of children. Based on the children's needs and interests, you create meaningful teaching that provides conditions for lifelong learning.
Do you find it natural to relate to others in your environment in a responsive and respectful manner while also being good at creating and maintaining relationships with children, colleagues, and parents? Apply to us!
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.
