About the role The job involves supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and neuropsychiatric disorders in their development. At Nytida's daily activities, we have a primary focus; the individual. 

The fact that the activities are individually tailored is paramount. We start from the person's needs, interests, motivation, and above all, resources. Therefore, the activities vary from person to person. A strong desire for most is to establish or re-establish contact with the labor market. For life to be perceived as meaningful, there often needs to be something more. This could involve developing through physical activity, education, crafts, or simply meeting others to socialize and talk about everything that is life. Your tasks also include setting goals together with the client, planning, and documenting based on the current implementation plan, as well as maintaining contacts with case managers and networks.

About Strandliden Strandliden is located in a calm, nature-close environment. Our facility has an open floor plan with workstations and relaxation areas.

We focus on showing care, being clear and engaged, and having a low-arousal approach. We work with encouragement and community but also with structure and boundaries. The goal is for our participants to be able to live as independently as possible.

We work individually tailored and base our working methods on low-arousal approaches, clear pedagogy, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).  

Your experience and knowledge You have a secondary education in health and care, for example as a nursing assistant. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have post-secondary education in social work such as a social worker, occupational therapist, or similar, as well as experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.  

You have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people, are responsible, and have personal maturity. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues and always have our employees' best interests at heart in everything you do.
