We are looking for a Computational Engineer who wants to help develop our client's operations – you will become part of a competent, helpful, and close-knit team!ABOUT THE POSITION:

On behalf of our client, we are now seeking a Computational Engineer with an interest in simulation and modeling of explosive phenomena. You will enter a high-tech environment where innovation, accuracy, and collaboration are at the center.

The team consists of engineers with various backgrounds in construction, physics, materials, and simulation – and they are now looking for more who want to contribute to the development of both products and methods. You will work closely with both production and testing operations, providing a unique insight into the entire chain – from idea to finished product.

Responsibilities:

• Perform simulations and modeling of explosive phenomena and their impact on surrounding structures
• Conduct calculations and analyses using explicit calculation programs (FEM, SPH, or CFD)
• Work on sizing protection and consequence analyses to prevent damage in explosion accidents
• Participate in technical studies and contribute to the development of methods, processes, and tools in the field
• Collaborate closely with designers, test engineers, and project managers in development projects

• Has a Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• Has experience in simulation and numerical methods, such as FEM, SPH, or CFD
• Has basic programming skills, preferably in Python
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Knowledge of material characterization is an advantage, as well as previous experience with safety-classified products or in the defense-related industry.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.This position requires you to undergo and be approved under the current regulations for security protection. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship.
