About the role

The role involves participating in the entire development chain for electronics for advanced systems within defense and security, from early project phases to verified products. The work is project-based in close collaboration with colleagues in systems, mechanics, and testing areas.

• Participate from project start, including cost estimation and project planning.
• Requirements interpretation and breakdown to design level.
• Electronics design – creating circuit diagrams, selecting components, and design solutions.
• PCB layout and connection of components (PCB design).
• Possible FPGA-related design (e.g., VHDL) and participation in design reviews.
• Verification and testing of circuit boards, as well as support during system testing with the testing or system group (e.g., shooting tests).
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and improvements of existing designs.
• Documentation of designs, specifications, and reports.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in electronics/Circuit board design
• Clear personal interest in electronics
• Swedish and English in spoken and written form
• Swedish citizenship due to security classification

Meritorious

• Relevant work experience in electronics
• Experience with Siemens Xcelerator/ Siemens EDA or other similar tools
