Job Description

As an automation engineer with us, you will work on the development of automation systems from hardware specification to programming and machine safety. You will be responsible for creating solutions according to current industrial standards and ensuring functionality and safety from risk analysis to validation.

A typical work week may involve longer assignments focusing on development and programming, support for existing projects run by other offices, or work to further develop our product offerings for the local market. The role requires an understanding of customer needs and the ability to contribute senior system knowledge within automated control for process, manufacturing, and special industries. Over time, the role can develop towards project manager or technical expert.

You will be part of an engaged team of 14 employees where the overall experience level is senior and the competence is broad across different industries. The team spirit is strong, with good communication and a culture where we care for each other's well-being.

We work on projects within process industry, manufacturing industry, automotive industry, and defense industry. Leadership is present and technology-oriented, and the work environment is flexible – you can combine work in the office, at home, and at the client depending on the nature of the assignment. We always strive to create a balance that suits you and our customers.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience with automation hardware and software from leading suppliers, including robots, PLC/IPC systems, and SCADA/HMI/DCS
  • Good knowledge of IEC 62061:2021 and SS-EN ISO 13849-1
  • Degree as a Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent professional experience in industrial automation
  • System knowledge in OPC UA/DA, Siemens (Simatic, Proneta, Step 7, Starter, Scout, WinCC, TIA Portal, Safety), drive systems, TwinCat3/Codesys
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, basic knowledge of German
  • Driver's license B

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge of ISA standards (ISA-84, ISA-88, ISA-95, ISA-101)
  • Experience with GMP and GAMP5
  • Advanced knowledge in Mitsubishi, Phoenix PLCnext Engineer, ABB Robotstudio
  • Ongoing training within automation suppliers' portfolios
  • Basic knowledge of German
