Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career at a company where accounting meets business value? On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Junior Accountant who wants to develop in a broad role with both responsibility and support. Location in Gothenburg.

About the role

As a Junior Accountant, you will be part of a knowledgeable finance and accounting team. You will work with ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting while gaining insight into processes related to business decisions and internal control.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing bookkeeping and invoice management
• Reconciliations and controls before year-end closing
• VAT reporting and simpler reports
• Support to the rest of the finance department in daily routines
• Opportunity to participate in improvement and digitalization projects

We are looking for someone who 

• Has a post-secondary education in finance or equivalent
• Has 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Is curious, meticulous, and structured
• Thrives in collaboration with both finance and other parts of the business
• Has good system skills
• Is fluent in Swedish and has good knowledge of English
