Are you an experienced accountant who thrives on responsibility, variety, and supporting others in their development? We are now looking for a senior accountant for a modern accounting firm in the Malmö region, a company characterized by community, development focus, and short decision-making paths. Here you will play a key role where you are responsible for your own client assignments and serve as a support to your colleagues in matters related to financial statements, annual reports, and tax returns.

Location: Malmö Start: As soon as the right person can start Scope: Full-time, temp-to-perm (employed by Delta Consulting with the possibility of being permanently hired by the client later) Hybrid: Yes, about 3 days in the office

About the role

In the role of senior accountant, you will work closely with the firm's management and become part of a team. You will enter a phase where there are good opportunities to influence, develop, and put your own stamp on the work.

Examples of tasks:

• Conduct and ensure the quality of financial statements, annual reports, and tax returns (INK1, INK2)
• Be responsible for your own client portfolio and work on broad, qualified assignments
• Support and mentor accountants in their development
• Participate in improvement initiatives, process development, and digitization
• Contribute to internal projects and controls regarding the financial statement work

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has a holistic perspective on accounting and thrives in an advisory role. You are self-driven, structured, and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. 

We believe you have:

• Experience in qualified accounting in Sweden, including financial statements and annual reports
• Solid knowledge of K2 (preferably also K3 or IFRS)
• Experience with income tax returns (INK1 and INK2)
• Experience from a firm
• Good IT skills
• Fluent Swedish and good English in speech and writing

Experience in project management, system interest, and a genuine drive to contribute to development are meritorious.
