Job Description

An employment with us at Central Operations means that you will work with surgical operations in orthopedics, surgery, and urology.

We offer you a unique and stimulating role where you can combine your interest in education and development with active clinical work.

This is a position with 50% administrative time dedicated to educational coordination and 50% intended for clinical time as an operating room nurse.

In the role of educational coordinator, you play a key role in supporting and developing competence within our area of operations. Your mission includes, among other things:

• Planning, coordinating, and following up on competence development initiatives.
• Organizing introductory programs to ensure a good start at the new workplace.
• Participating in clinical work according to the agreed working hours.
• Developing educational materials, methods, and routines that promote learning and development.
• Evaluating and ensuring the quality of training programs.
• Acting as our link between operations and educational actors.

As an educational coordinator with us, your goal is to ensure a high and even level of competence. By planning, coordinating, and developing, you create good conditions for both new and more experienced employees to grow in their roles, and together in the work team, continue to deliver high-quality and safe care that is at the forefront.

As an educational coordinator, you will also be a central link between the clinic, management, and our external educational actors. You will have significant influence over how training is planned, implemented, and followed up, and your role is crucial for ensuring that employees have the right conditions to grow in their professional roles. Additionally, close collaboration between educational coordinators within surgery and anesthesia is emphasized, which creates a holistic view of competence development and strengthens teamwork around the patient.

Qualifications

Preferably previous experience as an educational coordinator and/or other equivalent pedagogical education. Good knowledge in business development and/or project management.

About the Operations

The Orthopedics area at Danderyd Hospital is a 24/7 operation with over 300 employees. We provide both acute and elective care and meet patients at our orthopedic outpatient clinic, at the orthopedic section in the hospital's emergency department, and at our two orthopedic inpatient wards.

We operate in central operations with our own surgical staff and also conduct day orthopedic surgical operations. Our operations also include a comprehensive paramedical section.
