Rio care and nursing home is centrally located in Gärdet.

The facility provides care and support for the elderly with somatic and dementia-related illnesses, focusing on the individual according to applicable laws and guidelines. The operation has high-quality goals and works to create a residence where the elderly experience safety, well-being, and meaning. The staff is committed to considering the elderly's individual circumstances, wishes, and needs, as well as creating participation in the design of the support provided.

We offer a permanent position for awake night shifts at 71%. For the right person, there are good development opportunities. Your role

As a nursing assistant, you will work with care and service efforts based on the elderly's implementation plan and wishes and needs. You are attentive and have the ability to both listen and motivate. You will primarily work in the short-term department. During the night, you will be responsible for 8 residents. As a nursing assistant, you are an important part of the team around the elderly, your expertise is in care.

Your skills and experience

You need to have:

• Nursing assistant education
• Professional certificate for protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Good experience with documentation and information transfer
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

It is meritorious:

• If you have recently worked with SBAR and have good knowledge and skills in NEWS.

You have long experience, are secure, can handle occasional stress, and have personal maturity. You should be service-oriented, self-driven, and attentive to the care recipient's needs. You should find it easy to collaborate with managers, colleagues, and residents as well as their relatives. You have empathy in your interactions with others, preferably with a linguistic analytical ability, and you should be professional with a genuine interest in working in the profession. You value differences and understand that different backgrounds, cultures, and group affiliations can affect oneself and others in various ways. You have good collaboration skills and are happy to share your own knowledge and experiences while being open to learning from others.

We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and good references. A criminal record extract will be required before any employment.
