We are looking for an experienced Controller for a municipal-owned company in the water and environmental sector. The company is owned by several municipalities in the region and is responsible for the operation and development of facilities that contribute to a sustainable cycle. Currently, an external investigation is underway, which has led to the appointment of a temporary management team. To strengthen the group, we now need a senior controller who can contribute expertise in finance and corporate governance.

The assignment includes supporting the CEO and the management team in financial management, corporate governance, and business development. The role involves close collaboration with the company management and provides an opportunity to actively participate in ongoing organizational changes.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a controller in finance
• Documented experience in corporate governance in limited companies

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in management team work
• Experience in organizational changes and business development
• Experience from municipal or municipal-owned operations (such as regional companies owned by municipalities)

Please note that the assignment requires an approved security clearance, a process that takes about two months. The assignment can start before the clearance is fully completed, but during that time the consultant may not work with classified tasks. If the security clearance is not approved, the assignment will be terminated with one month's notice.
