We are therefore looking for a Sustainability Manager who wants to make a difference – for our customers, our employees, and our community. With us, you will have a key role in driving sustainability efforts forward and ensuring it becomes a natural part of our business.  

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading Sparbanken Alingsås' sustainability work – environmentally, socially, and economically. You will be both a strategist and an inspirer, tasked with making sustainability an obvious part of everyday life for our customers and colleagues.

We want you to have knowledge of CSRD and the important legislation that is coming, and you should have experience in successfully developing and implementing sustainability strategies.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Integrate sustainability into customer interactions.
• Help our customers make sustainable choices in their personal finances and assist businesses in developing their sustainability efforts.
• Develop and drive the bank's sustainability strategy through initiatives that reduce environmental impact, strengthen social responsibility, and create long-term value.
• Measure, follow up, and report results, ensuring that we meet legal requirements and standards.
• Build engagement and increase knowledge about sustainability internally and externally.
• Create collaborations with external actors to achieve even greater impact together.

YOUR BACKGROUND

We are looking for someone who is passionate about sustainable development and wants to turn visions into concrete actions. You have experience in driving change or development work, preferably within sustainability, and understand how business and sustainability go hand in hand.
