We are now looking for an IT Technician for Second Line Support for a longer assignment at a larger government agency. Here you will have the chance to become an important part of an IT organization that manages a broad and complex IT environment – where stability, security, and service are in focus.

Your Responsibilities
 

As an IT Technician in Second Line, you will work with troubleshooting, incident management, and problem-solving in a varied IT environment. You will have daily contact with users via phone, ticketing systems, and email, and collaborate closely with other IT groups when escalation or deeper technical analysis is needed.

 

The role also involves coordinating responsibilities during major outages, ensuring that the right information is available for further handling by third line support, system management, and specialists.

 

The work is conducted on-site with an engaged team that values collaboration, structure, and quality in delivery.
 

Your Profile
 

We are looking for someone with a technical background who thrives in a second line support role where problem-solving and service go hand in hand. You are communicative, meticulous, and have a knack for building trust in dialogue with users and colleagues.

 

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in technical support
  • At least 2 years of experience in 2nd line support or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education in IT, or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365, networking, and troubleshooting
  • Experience troubleshooting both software and hardware
  • Experience working in ticket management systems
  • Very good Swedish in speech and writing

  • Communicative and pedagogical
  • Service-oriented and patient
  • Independent, but enjoys teamwork

Meritorious

  • Certification in ITIL
  • Experience from larger organizations or consulting environments
