The IT department currently consists of 1100 employees responsible for all IT used by the authority's approximately 40,000 employees. Our office is located in Norrköping, where we offer both flexible office space and flexible working hours. Currently, there is also an opportunity to work from home two days a week.
Within the police, we are facing an exciting time with digitization, new technology, and many exciting development assignments. The main products are tools for conducting secure border controls and include a variety of hardware, where we have great opportunities for customization for our own operations.
As a tester, you will closely collaborate with the operations and systematically drive the work to establish a common understanding of needs and gather information from the EU regulations that underpin both operational and technical requirements, as well as work closely with the development team on technical testing, test automation, manual testing, and coordination of testing efforts.
Qualifications:
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- Relevant post-secondary education in IT, or equivalent acquired experience as assessed by the Police Authority
- At least three years of current and relevant work experience in testing
- Experience in test automation
- Experience working with Cucumber, Cypress, or similar tools
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Employment requires Swedish citizenship.
It is advantageous if you also have:
- Experience in system development in Java
- Experience testing mobile apps on iOS
- Experience working with test-driven development
- Experience working with Jenkins
- Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes containers
- Experience of at least two years in requirements work
Personal Qualities:
We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks, is self-driven, and performs work in a quality-conscious manner. You have a strong interest in technology and are not afraid of new challenges, remaining motivated and solution-oriented. You thrive in collaboration with others and have an unpretentious approach where you help drive the work forward together with your colleagues.
We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
