Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a solution architect in IAM who wants to help shape the future of identity and access solutions in an organization where security, availability, and accuracy are business-critical.

You will work closely with the business, product owners, and development teams to develop and further enhance architectural solutions for identity and access management for both internal and external users.

Your tasks will include:

• Analyzing the current state and identifying improvement and development needs within the IAM area.
• Defining target architecture, principles, and choices for identity and access solutions.
• Developing solution proposals based on open standards and established platforms.
• Ensuring that architectural decisions are anchored and comply with information security requirements.
• Collaborating closely with development teams, IT security, business representatives, and other architects.

You will be part of the agency's architectural function and work together with solution, business, and software architects, as well as other key roles within IT and the business.

• Development Teams
• IT and Business Architects
• IT Security Function
• Business Representatives

The work requires you to continuously discuss, evaluate, and communicate architectural choices. You need to be able to explain complex technical solutions clearly and pedagogically and thrive in a role where collaboration and anchoring are crucial.

Personal Competencies

We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and confident in their architect role. You have the ability to see the big picture without losing focus on details and security. You work goal-oriented, take responsibility for quality in delivery, and adapt when conditions change. You are communicative, attentive, and build trust through dialogue and collaboration.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a solution architect within IAM, IGA, PAM, and/or AM in larger organizations.
• Experience designing solutions based on standards such as SAML2, OAuth2, and OIDC.
• Experience with platforms such as Keycloak, ADFS, Shibboleth, and Active Directory.
• Good ability to communicate technical solutions verbally and in writing.
• Relevant university education in IT/computer science or equivalent experience.
• Swedish citizenship (requirement for placement in security class).

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience working within a government agency or other security-classified operations.
• Certifications in IT architecture and/or information security.

Employment

The position is classified in a security class. Security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will precede the decision on employment, which is why the requirement for Swedish citizenship is set for this position.
