We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for an exciting assignment with our client in Stockholm. In this role, you will be a key person in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the client's platform. You will work in a technology-driven environment alongside knowledgeable colleagues in development, operations, and security.

This is an assignment for you who want to contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and robust operations of business-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and observability: Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to identify and address potential issues early. Analyze logs and system data to find areas for improvement.
• Incident management: Act quickly during incidents and collaborate with development and operations teams to minimize downtime and ensure recovery.
• Automation: Automate infrastructure, configuration management, and deployment processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Capacity planning: Analyze resource usage and forecast future needs to ensure scalability.
• Security: Implement security procedures around access control, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Continuous improvement: Identify improvement opportunities in reliability, performance, and security through better processes and tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and other engineering teams to ensure a stable and efficient platform.
   

Your profile

Requirements

• Solid understanding of cloud technologies, virtualization, and container-based architecture
• Experience with private cloud platforms (e.g., Nutanix, VMware vSphere)
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
• Good collaboration skills and communicative

Preferred

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD
