This is what you will do with us

As a Data Platform Developer, you will play a key role in building Skandia Fastigheter's modern data platform in Azure. You will work closely with both IT and the business and be responsible for ensuring that data is accessible, secure, and usable – from collection to visualization. The role combines strategy and technology, giving you the opportunity to set structure and shape working methods in an environment where much is still to be done. You will, among other things:

• Design and build data flows and integrations (ETL)
• Manage and model both structured and unstructured data
• Work with services such as Azure Fabric, Data Factory, Databricks, and LogicApps
• Ensure data quality, governance, and access control
• Visualize data with Power BI to create business insights

An important part of your mission is also to ensure data quality, work with data governance, and apply principles for secure and responsible data management.

Your team and workplace

The team you will be part of consists of about 10 people in roles such as management leaders, IT coordinators, project managers, developers, and support. They are responsible for the management and development of the business's IT support, the digital workplace, and support.

We are located in newly renovated premises centrally located at Jakobsbergsgatan 22 in Stockholm, right next to the Mood Galleria.

To succeed in this role, you have good experience in building and managing modern data platforms in Azure, where you have deep technical knowledge in several of the areas below:

Cloud platform Azure, and more specifically:

• Fabric
• Data Factory

• DevOps

Data management:

• SQL/AzureSQL
• Data mining
• Data lake
• AI/ML

Data flows:

• APIs
• AIS
• Automations

Analyze/Visualize:

• PowerBI

You do not need to be an expert in all areas, systems, and tools. The most important thing will be that you have the ability to take a holistic view of how data moves through an organization – and are driven to create structure, accessibility, and quality at every step. You are used to working both practically and strategically with data flows and analysis, and are comfortable in technical environments where you get to build new and shape direction.

As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating, have an easy time communicating with different parts of the business, and are attentive to the needs of the business.
