Job Description

As a UX designer, you will participate in the development of a central part of a new digital system; an ordering and contract web portal. The portal is crucial for managing various user interactions, service follow-ups, capacity planning, and warranty actions. As a UX designer, you are responsible for the user experience in the portal and ensure that the system meets identified user needs through a user-centered approach.

Your work impacts several primary target groups:

• Central user service that receives orders via phone.
• Customer support that handles deviations and warranty issues.
• Suppliers who have contracts with the organization and perform the services.

In addition to external target groups, you also need to ensure that internal users can perform their tasks efficiently.

You will be an important resource in identifying the needs and context of the target groups, and based on this, the team develops an effective and tailored solution.

The assignment involves leading and driving the design process in the development of the portal, from understanding the users and based on user insights developing concepts, UX flows, and validated designs. Based on the needs of users and the organization, you should be able to prioritize functionality and determine what is critical to have in place from the start and what can be developed later.

We are looking for a methodical and senior UX designer who is confident in the entire design process and can adapt methods and processes according to the assignment's purpose and conditions. You have experience in design within larger organizations with complex services and many stakeholders, and you are used to collaborating with different roles and competencies.

You are accustomed to meeting users for research, understanding their context, and identifying fundamental needs and challenges, as well as evaluating concepts and conducting usability tests. You can compile and present results in a way that is useful for others in the team.

You can create solution sketches at both conceptual and detailed levels in Figma and create prototypes for usability testing. You can also describe user needs so that they become practically useful for other designers and developers. Experience in designing systems for professional users, where workflows are critical, is important.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 6 years of documented full-time work experience in UX design in the last 10 years.
• At least 3 years of documented full-time work experience in UI design within the last 6 years.
• Documented experience in independently planning and executing a complete design process with relevant methods and stakeholder involvement, supported by at least 2 assignments/projects in the last 10 years.
• Documented experience in developing, visualizing, and communicating user insights from at least 3 assignments/projects.
• Documented experience in visualizing several different solutions in parallel at a conceptual level and evaluating these from a business and user perspective, from at least 3 assignments/projects.
• At least 2 years of experience in design work in an agile, cross-functional development team.
• At least 2 years of experience in creating design sketches and interactive prototypes in Figma that have been evaluated with end users.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in transforming user needs into structured requirements in at least 1 assignment.
• Experience in design work for work tools, supported by at least 1 assignment with a duration of at least 1 year in the last 10 years.
• Experience in assignments within the public sector, supported by at least 1 assignment with a duration of at least 1 year.
