Description

The Security Department is in a development phase and we are now looking for someone who wants to contribute to further developing our work in security protection.

At the Security Department, specialists work in information security, personnel security, physical and technical security, employee protection, crisis preparedness, civil defense, and travel security. We offer a varied, stimulating, and responsible job with great opportunities for personal development.

As an expert in personnel security, you will work both operationally and with the development of the area. A large part of the work consists of security clearance interviews and making security clearance assessments, and you will contribute to activities that have a significant impact on the Migration Agency's and Sweden's security. Frequent travel is included in the work to various parts of the country.

Responsibilities

In the role of expert in personnel security, your task is to work together with other employees to systematically ensure and continuously develop the authority's work in security protection. The work includes internal collaboration with other interviewers and experts in the various areas of security protection work. In your role, you will also promote increased knowledge and awareness within the authority regarding security protection. You have a distinctly good communicative and pedagogical ability, for example, to educate and create understanding for security protection at different levels in the organization. The work includes traveling to our various offices in the country where security clearance interviews will be conducted.

You listen and communicate clearly, ensuring that messages are conveyed and that expectations are clear for all parties involved. You plan and organize your work effectively and set and adhere to deadlines. Furthermore, you see the bigger picture and take into account the broader perspective. You have well-founded and clear values and the ability to think conceptually about issues from an ethical perspective. You are guided by ethics and values in critical situations at work. You understand your role and your area but also consider the overall best interests of the organization in your actions.

Requirements

  • Academic education in a relevant field or other education combined with relevant work experience that the employer deems equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in security protection work and work related to security protection legislation.
  • At least 2 years of experience in personnel security and work with security assessments and security clearances.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
  • Swedish citizenship.
  • Ability to travel based on the needs of the organization.

Meritorious

  • Completed security protection training (e.g., from the Armed Forces or MSB).
  • Experience in investigative work.
  • Experience from public administration.
