About the Job

As a nurse at Region Blekinge, you have great opportunities to develop in your professional role as we can offer many different specializations. You will either work within Blekingesjukhuset's somatic care departments or psychiatry. Blekingesjukhuset provides somatic care that requires specialized medical and technical resources as well as competencies that are not included in primary care. Psychiatry is a specialist service that offers qualified investigation, diagnostics, nursing, and treatment.

We work from a holistic perspective in close collaboration with patients, relatives, and care neighbors. The work as a nurse involves rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation. Our operations are conducted in both Karlshamn and Karlskrona. In your application, you have the opportunity to specify up to three clinics/departments where you wish to work. You indicate them in order of priority, and we will try to accommodate your wishes as much as we can.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or will graduate in the first half of 2026. If you graduate in the first half of 2026, you will be temporarily employed as a nursing assistant until August 31, 2026. Once you have submitted a valid Swedish license, your employment will be converted to a permanent position as a nurse.
