Högåsskolan is a F-6 school with approximately 490 students and 70 employees in the picturesque Knivsta, right next to the Gredelby Hagar Nature Reserve. Our proximity to nature, while being centrally located with short distances to commuter trains for quick access to Uppsala or Stockholm, provides fantastic opportunities for various types of variation in teaching, which we see as an important part of students' learning.

We have a maximum of 24 students per class, and there are 3 classes in each grade. The school is centrally located in Knivsta and was inaugurated in 2015.

At Högåsskolan, we work to meet each student at their level, where collaboration, participation, and shared responsibility permeate the teaching. We believe that all students can and want to learn if given the right conditions and strive to create an inclusive learning environment where everyone can express themselves, develop, and be challenged at their level.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who can substitute at Högåsskolan. In your role as a substitute, you will cover for our regular teachers, student resources, or our after-school staff. Job responsibilities may include conducting lessons, supporting individual students, and working in the school's after-school program and club.

It is desirable that you can work at least 1-2 shifts per week.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is stress-resistant, attentive, flexible, and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

You are comfortable in the role of an adult and also comfortable setting boundaries if necessary.

OTHER

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis during the recruitment period.
