The role of a contact person means that you should be a compassionate individual who can facilitate and provide support to help someone live an independent life.

Our operations are characterized by participation, and you work based on the individual’s needs. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive and observant in their interactions with others while also being able to maintain professionalism in their role.

Responsibilities

A contact person is responsible for supporting a person with disabilities or mental health issues to break social isolation. The role is about being a compassionate social support, not a professional support. This may involve accompanying the user to leisure activities such as movies, walks, or coffee.

It can be helpful for the contact person to have basic knowledge of what a disability or mental health issue may entail.

Conditions

Great importance is placed on personal suitability. No experience is required. You must be at least 18 years old. To be considered, you need to provide the following two extracts from the criminal record: 1. Work with children with disabilities (The extract can be obtained in your digital mailbox) 2. Check of your own information in the criminal record.

You should be able to speak and write Swedish.
