Job Advertisement: Investigator for Housing Social Unit

Do you want to contribute to ensuring that everyone has a safe and stable platform in life? We are now looking for a colleague for one of our two investigation teams who is particularly passionate about helping people in social exclusion find their way back into society.

At the Housing Social Unit, we work under the Social Services Act to investigate, assess, and decide on interventions based on individual needs. Our target group is adults with housing-related social problems, which may include adults with psychosocial issues and/or harmful use and addiction.

Currently, we have 25 employees divided into four teams, each with its own team leader. We are a wonderful group with a lot of knowledge and commitment. We are located in new, bright premises in the Social Services building. Most of the social services' operations are here, which allows for close collaboration across units. As a new employee with us, we offer you a well-structured introduction and a mentor, all to ensure you have the best possible start in your work. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will belong to an investigation team that works with the investigation and follow-up of housing social issues. Additionally, you will work on eviction prevention in collaboration both internally within social services and with external organizations such as landlords and the enforcement authority.

Here, you are part of a team that helps each other and values each other's differences and strengths. Therefore, your good ability to collaborate is important in this role. Although the work is largely independent, you will always have your colleagues and team leader available to discuss with. We have regular meetings where you receive guidance from the team leader and external supervision. There is also the opportunity for professional development and good opportunities to participate in our development work within the unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an interest in social work and the courage to make a difference. You enjoy working independently and can remain calm in stressful situations. You have a degree in social work or another similar academic qualification and knowledge of the Social Services Act (SOL). You have excellent proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

If you have experience in public authority operations or investigative methodology, that is a plus. We also appreciate knowledge and/or experience working with individuals with mental health issues and/or harmful use and addiction. A valid driver's license (B) and driving experience are also advantageous.
