The role of Economist at ROL offers you great opportunities to influence our continued journey, as we are planning for significant changes! You will play an important role, and we believe you can contribute valuable insights to support our development that has begun but will accelerate, as is happening in many finance functions right now. There is a wide breadth in the position, but the main focus is overall responsibility for coordinating and leading the finance in two of our Swedish companies. In this role, you are expected to further develop an operational and proactive finance function that traditionally communicates and collaborates effectively with other functions in the organization.

You will be part of a team with three competent colleagues and report to the Finance Director for ROL's Swedish companies, but you will also have ongoing contact with our foreign subsidiaries.

Main responsibilities:

• Together with the Finance Director, lead and develop the finance function through digitization and streamlining of processes and working methods.
• Support the business in financial and business-related matters through analysis and follow-up.
• Monthly and annual financial closing.
• Financial reporting to the group's finance function where you also support the Finance Director during the review of the monthly closing.
• In collaboration with existing group functions, develop our work within BI for the Swedish units.

Ongoing and recurring work also includes;

• Reporting of VAT and tax declarations.
• Ongoing bookkeeping including account reconciliations and accruals.
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Forecasting and budgeting work.

Your Profile

You likely have a degree from a university and have worked for a number of years in a similar role. You enjoy working in a team, but also independently, and possess strong analytical skills. Being able to transform and communicate your analysis and identified data into insights for other users in the group will be particularly important. You are structured and have a strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work. Taking initiative and working independently are natural traits for you.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English as well as larger ERP systems (we use IFS) and the Office suite are prerequisites for succeeding in this role. If you also have experience with BI systems, that is an added plus.
