We are looking for a skilled and driven Strategic Sourcing Manager for an exciting consulting assignment within the aerospace and defense industry. In this role, you will play a central part in developing strategic business relationships and leading procurement related to advanced and technically complex products. The assignment involves close collaboration with engineering teams and technical experts, as well as responsibility for driving both new initiatives and ongoing projects.

About the role

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will work to strengthen supplier collaborations and develop long-term relationships that contribute to business success. You will also lead procurement teams in larger projects and actively participate in improving and streamlining sourcing and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

– Be responsible for strategic supplier relationships and ensure long-term commitment from key partners.

– Lead and manage procurement in both new projects and existing operations, in close collaboration with technical and engineering teams.

– Identify and drive development initiatives to optimize procurement processes and strengthen business relationships.

– Build and maintain professional networks with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers.

– Act as a project manager for the sourcing team in larger projects and provide strategic guidance as needed.

We are looking for someone who has:

– At least 3 years of experience in strategic procurement and sourcing within a technically advanced environment.

– A relevant academic background, such as an MBA, M.Sc. in engineering, or LL.M.

– Strong skills in building long-term relationships and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

– Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Location: Hybrid solution based in Östergötland.

Work model: Flexible work, with the possibility of both remote work and on-site work.

Assignment period: From February 2025 to February 2026, with the possibility of extension.

The role requires approval according to security protection regulations, which may involve specific citizenship requirements.
