Strandakar Hotel & Restaurant offers a complete experience of rural luxury near Herta beach in När on eastern Gotland. We opened in 2018 and have been a member of Petit Hotel since 2019. The hotel features twelve spacious and luxuriously decorated double rooms, a bistro, a restaurant, and a fantastic courtyard. We have approximately 100 seats inside the dining room and about 60 seats on our outdoor terrace in the courtyard. Our ambition is to be Gotland's most pleasant meeting place and also the most beautiful.

We have a newly built, fully equipped, and modern kitchen. We handle both traditional and modern cooking with influences from many different countries, adapted to the season. Whenever possible, we use local producers. We also have our own kitchen garden and a greenhouse where we grow vegetables and herbs.

We are now looking for a sous chef.

You are a positive and outgoing person who enjoys sharing yourself with both your colleagues and our guests. You have a good sense of taste, remain calm and controlled in stressful situations, and have a lot of passion for cooking. We want you to have at least 3 years of experience working in a kitchen with similar operations. We are looking for a sous chef who can maintain order in the kitchen when the head chef is not present. We seek someone who feels confident in leading others in the kitchen, managing orders, and collaborating with the head chef to create the final touches on our menus.
