Johannas Trädgård in Täby Kyrkby is currently seeking six nursing assistants, preferably with specialist competence in dementia or elderly care.

About the job

The work as a nursing assistant is a varied job that suits you who are driven by making a difference for our elderly in society. Your tasks include working for person-centered care and being part of a team with other professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, activity coordinators, other nursing assistants/care assistants, unit managers, and coordinators. Contact with the residents' relatives is also included, which is an important cornerstone of the work.

By creating social content, meaningfulness with participation in everyday activities, and being passionate about providing service in the residents' own homes is something we strive for. In addition to this, the tasks include performing both medical and rehabilitative interventions through delegation from the nurse and rehab team. Our employees work on a rolling schedule in 6-week periods, with day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend. Full-day shifts may occur.

About Johannas Trädgård

Johannas Trädgård is a care and nursing home with 86 apartments spread over three floors. The residence has both dementia and somatic focus. Johannas Trädgård is Silviahem certified, which means that all permanent staff have undergone training through the Silviahemmet care philosophy.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained nursing assistant with 2500 points or comparable validated education according to the decision on protected professional title for nursing assistants.
• Is a specialist nursing assistant in dementia or elderly care – considered an advantage.
• Expresses yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Since communication and documentation are important tools in our operations, this is a requirement.
• Has experience in elderly care.
• Feels confident using digital aids. Täby municipality promotes digital development in work through documentation and various digital signing systems.
• Knowledge of the journal system Pulsen Combine, AlfaSign it, EasitGo, and Medvind is an advantage.

You have the ability to meet people in different situations in a professional manner and feel joy in helping and supporting people in their daily lives. As a person, you are responsible and flexible, and have the ability to maintain a holistic perspective. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
